About MLR, Crew, & Jr Crew
About us:
MLR: was established & first hit the track in Sept 2004 with less then stellar results. With only eight total laps and blown motor it was back to pit duty for Mike working and learning under the tutelage of senior crewmembers on Aaron Kleine’s #9 – “Bestway Equipment” UMP Late Model. The memory of those eight laps has not faded and has kept the desire to compete burning. Taking the last several years to learn all he can from the competitors at the front and to learn from their mistakes so as not to repeat them. With a focus on detail and cleanliness, and a determination second to none Mike returned to the track for the 2006 racinng season. It turned out to be a year of continued learning and struggles, with a year long best feature finish of ninth and a final points standing of 15th at Highland Speedway, Madison County Fairgrounds.
